Group 16 draw to be finalised later this month

Good signs for the Group 16 Rugby League Competitions in 2026.

At this stage the season looks like kicking off around ANZAC Day with the draws in the final stages of approval.

Group 16 Chair Ray Inskip has confirmed they currently have nine clubs registered in the first grade competition, nine for reserve grade, seven for Under 18’s.

The introduction of a Women’s 9 a side tackle competition will see five clubs participate while all but one of the nine clubs will play a team in the Ladies League Tag comp.

The Group’s Board will meet later this month to confirm arrangements.
