Moruya Australia Day Event – everyone welcome!

A community lead Australia Day Free Breakfast sausage sizzle is taking place at Russ Martin Park on Sunday 26 January starting at 7am to 10 am.

Free lamb sausages and a drink will be available from 7am also free Aussie flags for the Kids.

Whilst the ‘Free Breakfast’ commences at 7am and you are welcome to attend and celebrate

following:

7.50am:- Official welcome by MC & Preparation for official flag raising ceremony

Welcome to Country

8 am:- Raising of both the ANF and Aboriginal flags

8.10am:- Australia Day address

8.15am:- Presentation of Australia Day Awards by Mayor Mathew Hatcher

1. Moruya & District – Recognition of Community Spirit and

Achievement Award for Australia Day 2026

2. Moruya & District – Young Citizen of the Year for Australia Day 2026

3. Moruya & District – Citizen of the Year for Australia Day 2026

4. Moruya & District – Volunteer of the year award for Australia Day 2026
