The beloved period drama Peaky Blinders that made Cillian Murphy a household name, concluded back in 2022. With the announcement of a film that began production late 2024, the story of Thomas Shelby and the Peaky Blinders was in the rear view mirror and surely to be finished with the yet to be released film.
Plot twist, it was revealed today that Netflix and The BBC have a sequel series in production. No details on what the sequel series will be about and if it will continue the story of Thomas Shelby or follow new characters. All we currently know so far is that the sequel series will be set in 1953.
The sequel will centre around the Shelby family again and a new generation of the Peaky Blinders. But will any of the original cast be present?
