AFL Sapphire Coast has confirmed Batemans Bay junior teams will switch from their competition to play in AFL Canberra from 2026.
AFL Canberra said the move strategically aligns all Seahawks teams into one league while increasing player development opportunities, particularly for the club’s continued expansion of its women and girls program.

The step coincides with the promotion of club’s senior teams into Premier Division next year.
