Health Minister Ryan Park has denied a new program to provide housing for frontline health workers on the Far South Coast is only going to make the local housing crisis worse.
Yesterday he announced $24-million for Southern NSW Local Health District to buy and build accommodation including in the Eurobodalla and Bega Valley shires.
“What we’ll hopefully do is take some pressure off the existing housing because the $24 million will be an investment in our people,” Mr Park said.

“That’ll be done. That’ll take health care workers out of the pool and allow other workers to get that much needed housing,” he said.
