Eurovision is being held in Tel Aviv, Israel this year between the 14th and 18th of May, with the Grand Final airing around 5am Sunday morning in Aus. The election coverage will run from Saturday afternoon and people seem genuinely concerned about it.
Australia holding an election on the same day as the Eurovision grand final is downright disrespectful. https://t.co/J4gRKk7SGV— Neil MacInnes (@Neilis2cool) April 10, 2019
It’s official the Australian Election will be held on Saturday 18 May. The results will come in Saturday night, hopefully it’s a quick result as the Eurovision Grand Final is VERY early Sunday morning. #AusVotes19 #Auspol— Aussievision (@aussievisionnet) April 10, 2019

Don't even get me started on the Game Of Thrones finale that weekend as well.
It's gonna be an exhausting few days. Hopefully the election goes better than Australia usually does in Eurovision.
