The trailer for the sequel of 2016’s hit animated musical comedy ‘Sing’ is here and it looks to be even more dazzling and adventurous than the original movie – with a bigger, showstopping soundtrack and some shiny new additions to the all-star cast.
‘Sing 2’ will see the return of Buster Moon (voiced by Matthew McConaughey), the optimistic koala who owns and runs the Moon Theatre, as he sets his sights on creating the next big musical show alongside his talented animal pals…but it won’t be easy.
Gunter (voiced by Nick Kroll), Rosita (voiced by Reese Witherspoon), Ash (voiced by Scarlett Johansson), Meena (voiced by Tori Kelly) and Johnny (voiced by Taron Egerton) will all reprise their roles in the upcoming sequel.
Some of the new characters to join the group of furry friends will be played by a slew of big names, including Bono, Pharrell Williams, Halsey, Letitia Wight, Eric André, Chelsea Peretti and Bobby Cannavale.
The family flick – written and directed by Garth Jennings, produced by Illumination and distributed by Universal Pictures – will also feature hit songs by big-name artists such as Billie Eilish, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Drake, U2, The Weeknd, Prince, Coldplay, BTS, Cardi B, and the list goes on.
