The Far South Coast and Moruya rugby league communities are mourning the passing of local legend Ack Weyman.
The Moruya Sharks Rugby League Club has passed on condolences to the Weyman family on behalf of the committee and players saying Ack was an "amazing advocate for the great game of rugby league and a massive part of our beloved football club."
Ack was well known as a coach, mentor and player and the father of Mick and Tim Weyman who have had careers as professional rugby players in the NRL.
President of the Moruya Sharks Matthew O'Shea says it's a great loss, and says the legacy of Ack Weyman will live on.
