In Aussie Rules Eden's Jess Mudalier says she's hopeful the Whalers can turn around the season and make it three premierships in a row.

The team is sitting fourth on the SCAFL competition ladder and lost to the Narooma Lions last weekend, 52 points to 15. The Lions are sitting on top of the ladder.

Jess, who is also a star cricketer, says the Whalers are hoping to come back after the long-weekend break with better on-field communication.

The centre-back says although there are a number of new players on the team this year, The Whalers have the skills but just need the confidence to communicate effectively on the ground.
