Two men are in hospital, one of them with stab wounds, following a brawl in western Sydney.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of The Crescent and Court Road in Fairfield about 8.20pm on Friday following reports of a fight involving three men.
A 29-year-old man from Fairfield West who had been stabbed in the chest and stomach was taken to Liverpool Hospital under police guard. He is in a stable condition and will require surgery.
Two men aged 38 and 60 were arrested at the scene. The 38-year-old Bankstown man was taken to the same hospital under police guard. The 60-year-old Fairfield West man has since been released pending further inquiries.
