The organisers of HuntFest in the Eurobodalla have handed back their licence to Council and cancelled the event, which has been held at Narooma annually since 2013. The organisers of HuntFest in the Eurobodalla have handed back their licence to Council and cancelled the event, which has been held at Narooma annually since 2013.

It's understood the licence had been valid until 2023.

HuntFest began in 2013, in 2015 the event began selling guns and ammunition.

This was condemned from many in the community who said it was inappropriate for guns to be sold from Council's Narooma Sport and Leisure Centre - where the event was held.

This year's HuntFest was postponed in March due, said organisers, to a decline in exhibitors and inability to compete with bigger events across the state, which have started in the last few years.
