Head on collision at Nimmitabel yesterday leaves one dead, two seriously injured

A 57-year old male driver has died and two men seriously injured after a crash at Nimmitabel yesterday afternoon. 

About 2.40pm (Sunday 14 April 2019), two vehicles collided head-on on the Monaro Highway, Nimmitabel.

The male driver of one car died at the scene. His male passenger was injured and was taken to Cooma Hospital in a stable condition.

The driver and passenger of the other vehicle, both men, were trapped and received serious injuries and were  flown to Canberra Hospital.

The highway was closed for about six hours.
