Over 20mm of rain recorded on South Coast

The rain is still falling this morning along the South Coast. The Bureau says another system is forming next week.

Some decent rain has fallen on the Far South Coast yesterday afternoon and overnight with between 20 and 30 millimetres recorded in many towns and villages.

Bodalla even recorded just over 30mill.

Rob Taggart, from the Bureau of Meteorology, says the falls exceeded expectations and says there's another system forming mid next week.
