Batemans Bay police are praising the efforts of the Moruya SES Vertical Rescue Team who helped rescued a fifty year old local woman from a cliff face near Denhams Beach over the long weekend.
Police say the woman misread the tides as she was walking around rocks on Sunday morning and was forced to climb up the cliff, becoming stuck halfway up.
Luckily she was able to call for help on her mobile phone and the rescue was a success. Fire and Rescue and police were also on hand to assist.
