Eurobodalla photographers and artists could win up to $2,400 in prizes by participating in a water-saving themed competition.
Entries are now open for Eurobodalla Shire Council’s Art₂0 competition, and can be any 2D media including photography, drawing or collage, but must reflect the benefits of saving and valuing drinking water.
Winners in the open photography and 2D works categories will each take home $1,000 cash, while the under 18 and under 12 photography categories will win $100 and the People’s Choice winner $200.
Winning artworks may also be featured on Council’s water refill stations, which help residents and visitors choose tap water when they are out and about, with a further eight water refill stations to be installed across the Shire in the coming years.
The competition entries will be on display as part of the River of Art launch on Friday May 19 at Bodalla Hall, where winners will be announced and the exhibition will continue at the Hall until May 26.
Entries close on April 13 and more information can be found on Council’s website.
