The Sapphire Coast Drive, Berrambool Drive intersection in Merimbula will reopen for the upcoming school holiday period, with a break in construction and removal of the traffic lights.

To allow this to occur, sealing works will be carried out on Thursday (June 30) and Friday (July 1) to allow for two lanes of traffic to flow after Friday.

Temporary line marking will be added to the intersection and a stop sign with temporary holding line will be added to Berrambool Drive.

The 40km/h speed limit will remain in place.

This project has been made possible with funding from the Federal Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure, and Black Spot programs.
