Truck rolled on Kings Highway

An accident occurred on the Clyde Mountain this morning, with a truck carrying building materials rolling near Pooh Corner on the Kings Highway.

Constable Lauren Mulhall from NSW Police Media said emergency services received a call at approximately 9:45am on Tuesday (October 26).

"Officers attached the South Coast Police District Batemans Bay attended and observed a truck, a Kenworth Prime Mover with a semi-trailer, carrying tiles, that had rolled over and through a guard rail," Constable Mulhall said.

"The truck driver, a 28-year-old male from the ACT, was not injured as a result of the accident."

Westbound traffic, travelling from Batemans Bay was affected.

Approximately 400 litres of diesel was removed from the vehicle, and a heavy tow was on route (at 12:30pm) to salvage the rolled truck.
