The Snowy Mountains Highway at the Brown Mountain is open once again.
The highway is the main link for the Bega Valley to Cooma, Canberra and the west.
The road was closed a number of times last week, including on Thursday afternoon and Friday because of floods and landslips.
The road is maintained by Transport for NSW.
Meanwhile Bega Valley Shire Council says it will start work today to re-instate the temporary bridge at Pretty Point at Wyndham.
The temporary bridge was washed away in the floods last week. Council has thanked the community for their patience and apologises for the inconvenience.
