Former Tathra Sea Eagle, Tarni Evans, is set to showcase her talent at the upcoming AFLW Draft Combine.
The 18-year-old South Coast local is working hard to ensure she puts her case forward to be drafted by an AFLW club in the draft and felt humbled to get the call up to attend the combine.
"It was a bit out of the blue but exciting, so exciting," Evans said.
"I got an email from the AFL and it was like, do you want to accept and I was like, yep definitely," she laughed.
Following a premiership with the Queanbeyan Tigers in 2019 and another great but shortened season in 2020, and opportunities with the AFLW Academy, Evans is keen to put her best foot forward ahead of the draft combine on September 29.
82 young women will put their skills on show at AFLW combines across the country in the hope of being selected in the AFLW draft on October 6.
