The Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter has winched two people from the rocks at Barlings Head, around 12km south of Batemans Bay, on Monday afternoon.
The chopper, Lifesaver 23, out of Moruya, was called in after a double kayak with two women on board capsized while they were navigating around the headland.
After being winched to safety, they were checked over by waiting NSW Ambulance paramedics at Malua Bay Surf Life Saving club and treated for mild hypothermia.
