Based at Surf Beach Waste Management Facility, this role contributes to the safe and efficient operation of the Waste Disposal, Recycling and Buy Back shop. Drawing on your proven HR driving experience, you will operate site plant and machinery, including but not limited to, track loader, wheel loader, compactor, water truck, and forklift.
Maintaining high standards of customer service and safety, you will inspect incoming loads and seek confirmation from customers regarding waste types to ensure accurate identification of waste; and control and direct all traffic and pedestrian movements in and around receival, disposal, and processing areas. You will work to maximise resource recovery opportunities through waste identification and separation.
This is a casual position where hours of work are not guaranteed and includes weekend and public holiday rosters to cover staff absence and periods of high activity.
Total remuneration for the role is in the range $39.79 to $41.80 gross per hour consisting of:
• $28.09 to $29.56 gross base salary per hour,
• $7.02 to $7.39 casual loading (calculated at 25%),
• $1.17 per hour Adverse Working Conditions allowance, plus
• $3.51 to $3.69 superannuation (at 10%)
A satisfactory outcome as a result of a National Criminal History Record Check is a requirement for this position.
