This is a supervisory role with a high quality customer focus that is responsible for coordinating the day to day operation of the Batemans Bay Library ensuring provision of quality library services for the community.

This position will also play an important role in developing new and innovative programs that meet the needs of the community, as well as contribute to the promotion of programs. You will be required to work one Saturday morning shift per fortnight.

You will be involved in circulation, reference and library administrative duties; leading, supervising and developing library staff; implement library policies and procedures; and assisting the Library Coordinator in the administration and promotion of library services.

Total remuneration for the role is in the range $2,905.27 to $3,075.91 gross per fortnight consisting of:

• $2,641.15 to $2,796.28 base salary,
• $264.12 to $279.63 superannuation (at 10%)

Skill Required

With a qualification in library studies, you will work across all aspects of library service provision. Experience in coordinating reader education and skills in library promotion and community and interagency liaison are essential requirements of this role.
