We are looking for a responsible and friendly “postie” to join the team at Tathra Post Office.
This role is working Monday to Friday, you have your weekends off and you will be remunerated with award wages.

The ability to work alone and in all weather conditions is crucial.
This role involves moving and lifting heavy parcels and delivering them to residents around the Tathra township.
This role will be casual employment with an option of permanent part time for the right candidate.

Skill Required

The ability to work alone and in all weather conditions is crucial.
• A current unrestricted motorcycle & car licence
• To be fit enough to lift up to 16kg of mail repeatedly each day.
• Meet our motorcycles’ safe working load limit (so you’ll need to weigh 100kg or less when fully clothed)
• A friendly, reliable and considerate personality – with a real knack for communicating and interacting with others (after all, you’ll be constantly talking with our customers)
• Someone who enjoys early morning starts, and can be counted on to deliver mail to where it needs to go five days per week in all types of weather including rain.
