We have an apprenticeship up for grabs where you will train on the job, study and earn an income all while working towards obtaining a nationally accredited qualification.
Our Parks section is responsible for the routine maintenance and minor improvements of Council’s parks and reserves across the Shire. The work involves looking after playgrounds, sports fields, picnic facilities, public toilets and general park areas.
Based from our Narooma Depot, as the Parks Apprentice, you will work in various locations using a variety of hand tools, small machinery and larger plant items for example trimmers, blowers, ride on mowers, tractors and trucks.
Over the four years you will develop practical skills on the job and complete a Certificate III Horticulture (Parks and Gardens).
