As a Sea Urchin Processor you will work in a team in a busy environment, with continuous tasks that include removing and processing sea urchin roe from the shell. You will also be part of cleaning the factory processing areas and the equipment and tools at the end of the days’ processing.

This is a physical job working directly with seafood. You will be required to follow good hygiene practices at all times. On the job training will be provided.

Start time is 7:00 a.m. and hours will depend on the size of the catch to be processed and may exceed 8 hours. $24.80 per hour, including casual loading.

Skill Required

Ability to work in a team.

Knowledge of food safety and safe food handling (on the job training).
