Are you passionate about young people and have the ability to lead, encourage and facilitate young people’s participation in community life? If yes, we have the perfect position for you.

We are seeking a committed and passionate individual to join our team. You will engage with the young people in our community and deliver high quality, youth development activities while maintaining a fun, safe, healthy and caring environment.

This position coordinates local youth development activities at the Moruya office and oversees youth focused activities in the community. The position will also develop engaging social media content and digital engagement activities for young people in our local area.

This is a permanent part-time 44 hours per fortnight position, with total remuneration in the range $37.62 to $40.08 gross per hour consisting of:
- $34.20 to $36.44 base salary,
- $3.42 to $3.64 superannuation (at 10%)

Verified clearance as a result of a Working with Children Check is required for this position, along with a satisfactory outcome as a result of a National Criminal History Record Check.

Skill Required

The ideal candidate will hold a diploma or certificate level qualification in a relevant profession and/or considerable experience working with young people and families, a first aid certificate and team leadership skills. In addition, well developed communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with young people will be critical to your success in this role.
