“Stay afraid, but do it anyway. What’s important is the action. You don’t have to wait to be confident. Just do it and eventually the confidence will follow.” – Carrie Fischer
Bega and Canberra
TWO SHEDS WORKSHOP is a supportive, fun environment for women to learn woodwork and carpentry.
Gain confidence and knowledge through our classes and workshops, learning skills to carry out your own projects.
Our teachers are tradeswomen Jo Saccomani, qualified carpenter/joiner and Tess Walker, qualified cabinet maker. Other skilled and qualified women teach with us.
We have weekend workshops that are skill level or project based in Bega and Canberra.
We offer classes for women on Monday evenings, Wednesday and Friday mornings. All our weekly classes are for any skill level. These are currently only available in Bega but we are working on offering weekly classes in Canberra later in the year.
CHILDREN’S AND TEENAGER’S WOODWORK
TWO SHEDS WORKSHOP is a fun, inspiring place where children and teenagers can learn woodwork and building.
Kids start with set projects and then they are limited only by their imaginations. We work with them with their ideas as they learn more and more skills.
As an aside they all learn perseverance and determination and about working for what they want, it is wood WORK after all!
We offer classes for girls and boys and youth after school Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and for homeschoolers on Thursday afternoons.
Our mixed gender teenage classes are on Friday afternoons.
We are a registered provider for Service NSW Creative Kids program and accept vouchers toward kids woodwork class fees.
We are working towards offering our children’s and teenager’s classes in Canberra in the second half of the year.
