The Annual Far South Coast Woodwork Exhibition and Sale Days, June Long Weekend

The June Long weekend is fast approaching and no doubt there will be a lot of visitors to the Far South Coast region to take in our scenic country-side and relax with friends and family.  If you are looking for something to entertain them, or want to take a leisurely drive just by yourself, look no further than beautiful Narooma.  The annual Woodwork Exhibition and Sales Show this year is being held at the Narooma Leisure Centre which is at the roundabout in Narooma.  The Show features works from three major woodwork groups spreading from Bega to Batemans Bay. Club members have pleasure in entering their finely crafted woodwork items in the Exhibition, some of which are for sale, plus there are also plenty of attractive items from the sales tables to purchase, including serving platters, jewellery boxes, timber toys, pens and many more.  So much to choose from all at very reasonable prices.

Other attractions at the Show are the Dalmeny Quilters who are highly respected artisans and also have some of their items for sale, plus demonstrations of wood turning and carving during the day.

Entry to the Show is just $2 per adult and children under 16 are free.  They each get to vote for their favourite entry in the Exhibition and have the chance to buy raffle tickets to win some great prizes, which include a BBQ valued at approx. $600, donated by Bunnings and some of our beautifully crafted timber items.

So, put the date in your diary – Saturday June 7 from 9.00 to 4.00, and Sunday June 8 from 9.00 to 3.00.
