Come and learn the basics of audio storytelling with sound producer, award-winning radio journalist and international podcaster Craig Garrett (“London by Lockdown” & “Not Quite Right For Us”). Discover tips and tricks to craft your own audio stories: learn scripting and interviewing, microphone usage and smart-phone recording, audio editing, noise reduction and fades.

Tell us your story about the pandemic
The workshops are part of our Talking Together oral histories project, which is gathering a unique collection of COVID-19 experiences from various groups, preserving them forever in the Library’s local history collection, and sharing them widely. By reconnecting through oral histories we want to hear your pandemic stories in your words.
