Bega Woodies Open Day

WOODIES OPEN DAY

Bega District Woodcraft Association (Bega Woodies) is holding an Open Day on Saturday 7 October 2023 from 10am-2pm. There will be demonstrations, displays of fine woodcraft, including from our award-winning members, and a raffle with three beautiful handcrafted prizes.

Woodies is dedicated to the practice and sharing of knowledge in woodcraft – wood turning, cabinet making, box making, wooden toys. etc. We encourage the development of excellence in woodcrafts and welcome both men and women.

Members have access to a comprehensive workshop seven days a week, with set days weekly for experienced woodworkers to mentor and guide. As well as developing members’ skills, we regularly undertake community works and commissions for members of the public.

Anyone who is interested in seeing what we do is welcome to visit during our Open Day, whether or not they wish to join the Woodies. Woodies is located behind the Fire Station and Community Hall in Tarraganda. There is off road parking in front of the Hall.
