Strike Force detectives are interviewing four people at Bega Police Station following their arrests earlier today in connection to the alleged stabbing murder of 43-year-old Gordon Kessey in the town.
Police say Mr Kessey died in a park on East Street in the early hours of October 6 after an altercation involving two groups.
A second man, was rushed to South East Regional Hospital but has since been released.

About 7.30am today (Thursday 20 November), officers attached to South Coast Police District executed three simultaneous search warrants in Bega and Bemboka.
Three men, aged 32, 34 and 29, and a 19-year-old woman were arrested.

The arrests follow a six week exhaustive investigation by officers attached to Strike Force Nakstone.
Investigations are continuing and police expect further arrests to be made
