The Rural Fire Service is warning that the current conditions along the Far South Coast are very dry.

“We’ve seen some really dry conditions across the whole Far South Coast over the past two months,” he said.

“We’ve seen some storms push through but they’re very varied about the rainfall is falling. They’re really hit and miss.

“We’re really asking people to be really mindful of bushfire. Now is the time to go and make your Bushfire Survival Plan. We can’t stress that enough!

“Until we see a decent amount of rain we are going to see more of these fires pop up.”
