Nominate Your Town as LEGENDAIRY.

legendairyFar South Coast communities now have extra time to nominate their towns to become Australia’s LEGENDAIRY Capital 2017.  The nomination closing date has been extended to 5.00pm on Friday April 28 to give locals more time to apply.

The program calls on people to nominate their town as the next LEGENDAIRY Capital by sharing stories of how dairy contributes to their community, with communities throughout Australia’s eight dairy regions including the Far South Coast invited to nominate a local initiative.

Nominations can be received from council members, residents on behalf of community organisations, community leaders, schools and clubs.

One finalist from each of the eight regions will be named the LEGENDAIRY Capital of their region and receive a grant of $2,500 to invest in the nominated community project, while the overall winner will receive an additional grant of $7,500.
