Eurobodalla Rotary Clubs raise money to buy new defibrillators

Raffle Draw

12 fully Automatic External Defibrillators will be spread across the Eurobodalla following successful fundraising efforts from the Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma Rotary Clubs.

The clubs raised the $25,000 required to purchase the devices after collecting the money from its Christmas Races at the Moruya Jockey Club in December.

Rotary will now undertake a survey to work out where the best locations for the new devices, with 4 to be located in each town.

Rotary director David Ashford says it’s important they are in the right place.

He also says the defibrillators are easy to use.
