Second stage of Batemans Bay streetscaping works starting next week

Batemans Bay

Stage two works for the $1.6 million Batemans Bay streetscaping project will begin on Monday.

The second stage works will focus on Orient Street, from North Street to Beach Road, and will include new kerb and guttering, repaved and widened pathways, new trees, seating and bin surrounds, more on-street parking, landscaping and the installation of fairy lights and totem poles.

Finishing touches will also be added to the stage one works on North Street, from Perry Street to Orient Street, which includes landscaping and totem poles.

Eurobodalla Shire Council say crews are aiming to complete the project mid-year, with the CBD remaining open for business during the works.
